Abstract

Novel compounds of formula <FORM:1118026/C2/1> wherein R1 and R2 are H, C1- 6 alkyl aralkyl or phenyl and R3, R4 and R5 are H, halogen, C1- 6 alkyl, aryl, halogenomethyl, C1- 6 alkoxy, NO2 or esterified carboxy and salts thereof are prepared by reaction of D 3-pyrroline-2-carboxylic acid and the appropriately substituted cinnamoyl chloride. Pharmaceutical compositions, useful as antipyretic and antiinflammatory agents comprise an above novel compound and a convenient pharmaceutical carrier.
