1,117,802. Pipe connections. MARLEY TILE CO. Ltd. 27 Feb., 1967 [25 Feb., 1966], No. 8442/66. Heading F2G. A connector 1 which may be formed from polyvinyl chloride by injection moulding includes a socket 2 which has a circumferential groove 5 for an 0-ring and a depth greater, preferably twice, than the length of a coaxial spigot 3. A projection 6 provides means for machining an internal groove for an 0-ring when the uppermost portion of the socket is cut off, and a clip for securing the socket, e.g. to a wall, may be disposed between the projection and a rib 7.
