Abstract

1,117,186. Spraying liquids. H. M. GIBSON. 9 Nov., 1966 [11 Nov., 1965], No. 47948/65. Heading A1D. A machine for distributing liquids on the ground comprises a tank 13 mounted on a wheeled carriage from which liquid is fed by pipes 23 to two bowl-shaped centrifugal distributers 11 provided with holes 11a. The distributers 11 are driven from the wheels 2, the drive including a governor which operates a valve to control the supply of liquid from the tank 13. In a modification a single distributer is driven from a single wheel mounted in a carriage which is guided manually by handles 4.
