[Also in Division B7] An air cushion vehicle adapted for agricultural use comprises a container 68 for a powder such as lime which is fluidised within the container by tapping pressure air from the cushion at 69, and leading it at 70 to a perforated false bottom 71. A branch air pipe 72 enters the container to direct entrained powder into a funnel 73 and thence to a distributing chamber 75 in which it is deposited as a layer of substantially uniform thickness for distribution by rotating vanes 78. The chamber 75 may be mounted on wheels and towed, the wheels driving the vanes 78 or the vanes may be driven by an air turbine 79 receiving pressure air through pipe 80. In a further embodiment (not shown) for spraying liquid a tank connected to a spray boom is pressurised by air tapped from ducting leading to the cushion chamber.
