Abstract

1,114,795. Valves. DOLE VALVE CO. 22 June, 1966, No. 27864/66. Heading F2V. [Also in Division F1] A vacuum storage vessel 10, made in halves of plastics material heat sealed together and shaped and ribbed as shown, has a restricted inlet 19 and an outlet 20 controlled by a check valve 36. This valve comprises a diaphragm member consisting of an outer annular locating bead 37, a central part 51 and a web 50. The central portion is axially offset from the beaded rim in the direction of a flat wall 29 on which the valve seats. The central part has an aperture 43, a converging side wall 44, and a recess 47, so as to form a raised sealing bead 48. A collar 52 on the other side of the central part locates a loading spring 53.
