Staiths and elevated structures; conveying and elevating apparatus. - Apparatus for conveying, storing, and reclaiming coal, ore, &c. comprises a bridge B running on rollers b and carrying from end to end a conveyer E. Material brought by a main conveyer C is delivered by a tripper D<1> to the conveyer E and is delivered at any point along the bridge by a movable tripper F, hopper G, and shoot g. As shown, the material is delivered through a hopper H attached to the bridge structure to a conveyer H<2> For reclaiming stored material, an elevator A is sup. ported by a truck a<2>, Fig. 7, and a plough L and the side of the conveyer E, to which it delivers by a shoot P, Fig. 4. The inclination of the elevator is adjusted by tackle Q. The lower end is supported by a truck a<2>, Fig. 7, and a plough L and conveyer M are pushed into the stored material X to convey it to the buckets a. The trippers D<1>, F support looped portions of the respective belts and are movable along the belts.
