Abstract

1,111,812. Erecting fencing. R. T. EVANS. 22 March, 1967 [25 March, 1966], No. 13372/ 66. Heading E1B. An attachment for a tractor to facilitate fencing erection comprises a -vertical bar 11 carrying wire reels 14 and 15 and horizontal tubes 19 and 20 which carry cord netting 23 between them, and through which wires 21 and 22 from the reels are passed to support the netting. Brakes 18 are provided for the reels, and arms 24 to limit the rate at which the netting is dispensed. The netting may be tensioned vertically by arms 27 of a pivoting bracket 25. The wires and the netting are stapled to posts 28. The reels may be fitted on to the tractor hubs so that they can be employed in winding up the wires, after detaching them from the posts, at the end of the season, by jacking up the rear wheels of the tractor and using the reels as winches.
