Abstract

1.109.765. Gantries for roads and railways. WILLING LUMI-NEON Ltd. 20 May, 1966 [8 March, 1966], No. 10118/66. Heading E1B. A tubular gantry for supporting signs or lights over a road or railway, is braced by one or more internal wires 16 and comprises a bowed top tube 11 flange-bolted to upright tubes 10, 10. The tubes 10, 11 may be built up in sections. The wire 16 shown is supported by spacers 18 and tensioned by turnbuckles 17 attached to eye-bolts 15 protruding from concrete bases to which the uprights 10 are bolted.
