Abstract

1,037,550. Ground anchors. SWYFTITE Ltd. Sept. 18, 1964 [Oct. 7, 1963], No. 39332/63. Heading E1B. A ground anchor which may be used for winching or which may (as shown) be attached by a bolt 15 to the foot of a fence post so as to lie along the ground comprises a U-shaped strap 10 provided with sockets 12 for anchoring pins 13. The strop limbs 11 may be either parallel or non-parallel. The sockets 12 may be bent from the limbs (as shown) or be formed by weldedon tubes.
