Abstract
1,110,237. Valves. DEUTSCHE AKADEMIE DER WISSENSCHAFTEN ZU BERLIN. 28 Oct., 1965, No. 45731/65. Heading F2V. In a displacement-pressure transducer, when a valve member 5 is clear of a port 4 the supply from a line 11 passes via a double-diaphragm relay 1 to produce a signal in a line 12. When the member 5 is moved to obturate the port, the pressure builds up in chamber 3 and the diaphragms move to obstruct the flow to line 12 from line 11 and connect line 12 to vent 18. In Fig. 2, not shown, valve member (7) is biased by spring (8) to a position obturating the port. In Fig. 3, not shown, the valve member (9) is biased to close the port by fluid pressure.
