Abstract

[Also in Divisions B6 and H1] A time pulse generator 23, in a typewriter (see Division B6) is energized by the actuation of a key bail restoring switch 7, which is closed indirectly by the depression of a key and the closing of the switch 7 produces a trigger pulse A, which is applied to a first monostable flipflop 51. A delayed output pulse B from the monostable flip-flop 51 is applied to a differentiating circuit 52 and amplifier 53 the latter producing an output signal C, which is applied to a second monostable flip-flop 54 generating a delayed output signal D, which on the one hand produces an operating pulse G for the type member selecting devices 59n . . . 59 1 and, on the other hand, feeds a differentiating circuit 61 and amplifier 62 to produce a restoring pulse H, through a third monostable flip-flop 63. The restoring pulse energizes an electromagnet 6, which operates mechanical members to restore the previously depressed key 7.
