Abstract
1,108,260. Transistor sawtooth generators. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORPORATION. 9 June, 1967 [10 June, 1966], No. 26733/67. Heading H3T. A sawtooth generator comprises a capacitor 12 charged via a blocking oscillator 1 and discharged via the parallel arrangement of a resistor 8 and transistor 13, the base of which is coupled via a differentiating circuit 14, 16 to the collector of the blocking oscillator transistor. The circuit may be triggered by pulses at 6 or may be free-running at a frequency depending on the setting of resistor 7 and synchronized by pulses at 6. The linearity of the output at 9 may be adjusted at 15.
