[Also in Division H2] In an ignition coil comprising a laminated core 13 mounted in a casing 11 and a supporting former 14 carrying a primary and secondary winding, one end of the secondary is connected to the core 13 one end 16 of the primary is connected to an input terminal 17, and the other ends 15, 19 of the windings are connected to a common output terminal 21 connected to earth through an interrupter, the core 13 being connected to a dis tributer via terminal 18 The terminals 17, 21 (see also Division H2) form the blade contacts of a plug-and-socket connector and are of bent metal strip secured to the cover 12 by a rivet passing through a non- circular hole in each terminal.
