Abstract

1,106,914. Hasp fastenings. KEYMEN (WILLENHALL) Ltd. 21 Dec., 1966 [19 Jan., 1966], No. 2458/66. Heading E2A. In a hasp 13, 14 and staple 10, the hinge of the hasp is enclosed within the two parts thereof and includes a pin 17 which is rotatably mounted in both parts 13, 14 of the hasp, one of the parts providing a structure rendering the ends of the pin inaccessible when the hasp is secured to a door or other structure. As shown, the pin 17 is rotatably mounted in a part 16 of the hasp part 13 and the ends of the pin are retained in sockets in the part 14 by a pair of detachable members 19 secured by screws 20. The hasp is secured from the rear by bolts and the staple is secured from the front by screws which are inaccessible in the fastening position of the hasp part 13.
