Abstract

1,105,877. Cine apparatus. RANK ORGANISATION Ltd. Aug.12, 1966 [Nov.26, 1965], No.50337/65. Heading G2E. An intermittent film feed mechanism has a claw plate 2 coupled through springs 9 to two arms 7 which are movable, vertically and normally to the film plane, about pivots 8 by engagement with box cam 4 and a face cam 5 whose two cam tracks 5' receive followers 10 located one on each arm 7. The upper pivot 8 is mounted on an arm 12 pivoting at 13 and spring-loaded at 14, to avoid play between upper arm 7 and the upper flange 20 on plate 2. Arms 7 are radiused where they engage flanges 20 and at their ends. In a modification, the claw plate comprises a flexible band mounted on curved pads on the ends of arms 7.
