Abstract

1,104,825. Thermocouple. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORPORATION. 8 Oct., 1965, No. 42761/65. Heading H1K. A thermocouple comprises a semiflexible cable 10 having its inner copper conductor 11 brazed or welded to a rod 16 of 55% Cu, 44À4% Ni; and 0À6% Mg at 17. The outer copper sheath 12 is brazed at 15 to the metal sleeve 15. A rod or button 21 of 95% Ni, the residuum being Si, Mg and Al, is joined to rod 16 whilst its upper end is welded at 22 to a stainless steel tube 24 which is brazed or welded at 26 to sleeve 14.
