Abstract
1,103,072. Gas burner. KONINKLIJKE FABRIEKEN DIEPENBROCK & REIGERS N.V. 5 March, 1965 [2 March, 1964], No. 9537/65. Heading F4T. A gas burner comprises a gas-air mixer tube 4, a diffuser 11 and a rectangular crosssectioned gas distributing conduit 13, made up of two U-shaped channels, joined end to end in a burner tube 1. The cross-sectional area of the space 23 between the burner tube and the conduit 13 decreases towards the closed end 17 of the conduit due to the vertically slotted side walls of the conduit diverging away from one another. Gas enters a nozzle 9 in a gas connector 6, passes through an interchangable nozzle 7 into the mixer tube 4 which is formed with a chamber 10 with primary air supply apertures in its outer periphery. The gas-air mixture then passes through the diffuser and into the space 23 through the vertical slots 16 in the conduit side walls. A burner plate fitted to the apertured top of the burner tube is formed with burner slots 19.
