Abstract

1,098,777. Hand trucks. C. MOUCHET. July 11, 1966 [Sept. 3, 1965; Oct. 12, 1965; April 27, 1966], No. 31089/66. Heading B7B. A hand truck has side members 1 of channel section to slidingly receive a tubular frame having handles 31 at one end and wheels 19 at the other, so that the disposition of the main unit carrying the main wheels 9 may be altered with respect to the wheels 19. The wheels 9 are carried by a frame 5 pivoted at 4 to the side frame reinforcements 3 and the frame 5 being retained in one of three positions by the pivoted frame 11. The frame 11 has notched plates 13 secured to it so that engagement of a transverse bar on the frame 11 with the notches defines one position of the frame 5, the other two positions being defined by the transverse member engaging one side or other of the plates 13. A detachable toe plate may be provided.
