Abstract

1,098,605. Hinge. S. A. MATTHEWS. Sept. 26, 1966 [July 19, 1965], No. 30487/65. Heading E2F. A hinge comprises two leaves 1 and 2 with interengaged lugs positioned about a pivot pin 3, the two ends of which are totally covered by the material of the end lugs and there being spacer elements 4 positioned in the axial, spacings between each pair of adjacent lugs. The leaves may be of plastics material and; may be formed by injection moulding around the pin and spacers in one or two operations. The spacer elements may be integral with the pivot pin or may be separate circlips or the like.
