1460063 Hinges ELMBRIDGE PRODUCTION ENGS (WALTHAMSTOW) Ltd 17 April 1975 [19 June 1974] 27104/74 Heading E2F In a hinge assembly 10 for securing to first and second parts to be hinged, a first hinge member 14, 16 is provided with a pair of lugs 18 disposed parallel to each other, a second hinge member 22 is also provided with a pair of lugs 26 disposed parallel and adjacent to each other, the lugs 18 of the first pair being adjacent the lugs 26 of the second pair with the interposition of washers 30 of a plastics material, and the lugs are urged against the washers 30 by screw means 28 with sufficient force to provide frictional resistance between the lugs, the second part to be hinged being slidably engageable with a sleeve member 12 fixedly secured to the second part to be hinged.
