990,782. Conveyer chains. FABER S.A. Jan. 27, 1964 [Jan. 25, 1963], No. 3377/64. Heading B8A. A conveyer chain consists of inner links 7 made of synthetic plastic, outer links in the form of a pair of metal plates 5, 6, and metal pivot pins of which adjacent pins 9, 10 in adjacent inner links are conneted together by split pins 11 or other means which will prevent their relative rotation. Such means may be provided on one side only, conventional pinretaining means being fitted on the other side. The plastic links may have metal reinforcing inserts 13, 14. An endless slat conveyer may be made up from such a chain, the slats 1 being of plastic and each moulded integrally with one of the inner links.
