1,095,887. Dispensing liquids by gaseous pressure. N.B. LERNER. March 19, 1965, No.11840/65. Heading F1R. A heat-exchanger device for heating the liquid, e.g. shaving lather, dispensed by a pressurized aerosol dispensing container, comprises a chamber 36 having an opening 58 for filling it with hot water, and a spiral conduit 60 leading from container outlet 44 to discharge nozzle 62, the container discharge valve 30 being operated by a knob 57. In another embodiment, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), the spiral conduit is formed by moulded walls extending from the base of the chamber. In another embodiment, for a container having a discharge valve actuated by tilting its discharge nozzle, Fig. 5 (not shown), the valve operating knob is mounted on the nozzle and is formed with connecting passages and a discharge outlet to which the spiral conduit is connected. In other embodiments, Figs. 6 to 10 (not shown), the heat-exchanger chamber is mounted alongside the container and has a spiral coil or U-shaped conduit connected to the container discharge nozzle.
