Abstract

1,094,272. Slub clearers. ZELLWEGER Ltd. May 28, 1965 [Aug. 28, 1964], No. 22811/65 Heading D1J. When the electro-magnet 15 is energized the armature 14 causes the cutter 5 to move to the left to sever the yarn 1, and the spring 9 then causes the clamping slide 6 to grip the yarn. On de-energizing the electro-magnet the spring 12 returns the clamping slide 6 to the setting shown and the spring 9 returns the cutter 5 to the setting shown.
