[Also in Division F4] Elongated pressure vessels 12 are disposed vertically in a ship's hold between upper 11 and lower 10 deck structures, each vessel 12 being rounded at its lower end 16, Fig. 3, and received in a correspondingly rounded coaxial wooden support bowl 32 to form substantially a ball-and-socket lower support for the vessel 12, and collar 55 with wooden ring 56 ex tending through the upper deck 11 gives support to the upper end of the vessel while allowing limited vertica and rotational movement with res pect to the upper deck structure Wooden support bowl 32 rests on a lower isolating barrier of foamed polyurethane 23, plywood 25, 26 and film 27, 28 of polytetrafluoroethy lene covering the lower deck structure 108 over balsa pads 18 and closely capping the upper portion 19a of eccentrically seated shear plug 19.
