Abstract

[Also in Division B7] The wall of the inflatable body of a craft for use by survivors at sea (see Division B7) comprises a base of gas impervious material (e.g. rayon, nylon or cotton canvas impregnated with rubber or buna N), a film of heat-reflective metal and an adhesive for directly or indirectly securing the film to the outer surface of said base for reducing variations in temperature of the gas within the body in response to changes in ambient temperature. The film of metal may be adhered directly to said outer surface or may be used with one or more films of polyethylene terephthalate.
