109,040. Medica Soc. Anon. Fabrique d'Instruments, de Produits Medicaux, et de Vaccins. Aug. 24, 1916, [Convention date]. Syringes.-A hypodermic syringe comprises a glass container 2 to which is cemented a bell-shaped top 3 carrying the needle 5 and formed with a neck 4 engaged by a sleeve 11 carrying a protecting- cover 10. The cover 10 is directly attached to a stiletto 9 passing through the bore of the needle but not entering the liquid-container. A disk 8 of parchment paper or other fibrous material is placed in a recess in the member 3 so as to close the outlet from the liquidcontainer, and is adapted to be perforated by downward movement of the stiletto before this is withdrawn.
