Abstract

1,086,627. Integrated circuits. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. (United-Carr Inc.). Feb. 23, 1966 [March 31, 1965], No. 13638/65. Heading H1K. An integrated circuit pack container comprises body and lid portions, the body 1 comprising a plurality of resilient contacts 6 extending from the upper surface to the inside of a lower recess 9a and the lid 10 comprising abutments 12 arranged to press down electrodes 17 of integrated circuit wafer 16 on to resilient contacts 6. A co-operating test block is also described (Fig. 4, not shown) with a projection bearing resilient contacts which engage the portions of resilient contacts 6 when the block is inserted into recess 9a. Contact to external circuits is then provided by contact fingers extending from the test block.
