Abstract

1,086,312. Protective arrangements. PIRELLI GENERAL CABLE WORKS Ltd. Jan. 28, 1965 [Jan. 28, 1964], No. 3535/64. Heading H2H. An electric power transmission system comprises three metal-sheathed single-core cables arranged in a flat formation, each cable sheath being provided with a single electrical interruption between its ends, the ends of the outer sheaths at the interruptions being crossconnected but no connection being made at the ends of the inner sheath at the interruption. Thus the effects of fault currents in the cable sheaths are minimized.
