108,612. Bluemel, F. H., and Bluemel Bros. Nov. 17, 1916. Wind and like screens or deflectors.-A combined wind-screen and rain-hood for side-cars &c. comprises a screen A, Fig. 1, of celluloid cloth, or like material attached to a flexible metal frame B which can be adjusted to suit cars of different widths, and a waterproof apron E attached to the front edge of the screen, the metal frame B being pivoted on pins which are adjustably connected to fixed or movable brackets D on the car either by means of links C or by arranging the pivot pins to slide in horizontal slots G, Fig. 5, on the brackets. One of the brackets D may be divided so that the upper portion F can swivel on the lower portion about a pivot M so as to facilitate entrance to the car, the metal frame at the opposite side being formed with a slot so that it can readily be lifted from its supporting-pin.
