Abstract

1,084,402. Valves. SINGER CO. Feb. 24, 1966, No. 8066/66. Heading F2V. The control of fluid flow from an input 54 to one or other of two working ports 60, 62 and the concomitant connection of the other working port to an exhaust port 66 is effected by notches 40, 42 on a shaft 16 having a vane 36, 38 partially rotatable in a chamber 22 by pressure signals applied to one or the other chamber ports 22a, 22b via ports 28 or 30. The spaces behind the vane are joined by a passage 24 to an exhaust port 26 to relieve fluid trapped behind the vane. The valve is disposed in a three-part casing.
