Abstract

An upper and/or lining comprises at least partly a net-like fabric of synthetic polyamide monofills. The fabric, which may be glued or welded to the shoe, remains air permeable. Shoe uppers formed of the fabric may be lacquered, coated with synthetic resins or flocked. Textile fabrics of fleeces which contain synthetic polyamide monofils may be used.
