[Also in Division F4] In a thermostatically operated valve the valve seats are formed by the upturned edges of a disc 36 and a ring 37, leaving an annulus 39 through which fluid can pass. In operation increasing temperature expands an elastic mechanism 46 causing a bush 43 to move the valve disc 36 against the action of a spring 35.
