Abstract

1,080,408. Filling crates. HOLSTEIN & KAPPERT MASCHINENFABRIK PHOENIX G.m.b.H. Aug. 24, 1965 [Aug. 24, 1964], No. 36223/65. Headings B8A and B8C. Several boxes 8 (Fig. 1) to be filled with bottles or other articles, are pushed laterally from a conveyer 7 on to a platform 5 which is then raised to receive articles from grippers 2, and lowered again so that the boxes can be pushed by the next row of boxes on to an inclined roller track 9 leading to an endless conveyer 10. In the embodiment bottles are fed in by a conveyer 4 and are marshalled by belt conveyers 3 from which they are transferred by the grippers. The boxes are transferred from the roller conveyer 7 by a pusher 11.
