The anchoring means restrain displacement of the pipes laterally of the rotor axis of the turbine 1, lateral inclination of the pipes out of the initial vertical plane thereof and twisting of the pipes about an axis substantially parallel to the axis of the rotor but permits limited movement in a vertical direction and a direction parallel to the rotor axis. Similar anchoring means are employed for the pipes 33R and 37L, 39L and 39R.
