Abstract

1,078,857. Oil burners. CENTRE DE RECHERCHES DE PONT-A-MOUSSON. Nov. 24, 1964 [Jan. 31, 1964], No. 47709/64. Heading F4T. The atomizing nozzle 1 of a burner is mounted in a cylindro-conical nose 3 slidably mounted in a sleeve 4 extending through a flange 13 on an air duct 7. The nose and nozzle are moved by means of a knob connected to a shaft 20 carrying a fork 19 engaging an arm 18 on the nozzle. The oil pipe 5 to the nozzle is flexible. The burner includes a easing C' enclosing a motor driving a fan V and an oil pump P, a clutch connecting the pump to the motor, and an ignition transformer TR. The casing comprises an inspection cover 14, a central housing 11 extending into the air duct 7, and two lateral covers 16 provided with ventilation grids.
