Abstract

1,078,544. Toy vehicles. W. BARTHEL. Feb. 7, 1966 [Feb. 12, 1965], No. 5258/66. Heading A6S. [Also in Division H2] An arrangement for supplying lamps LR at constant voltage on say a model train wherein the motor is supplied with a variable voltage, comprises at least one zener diode Z1 across which the lamps are connected in series with the motor M. Where two sets of lamps are required to be illuminated for forward and reverse running, the sets LR, LV are each connected across one of a pair of reverse series connected diodes Z1 Z2. The nominal voltage of the lamps is arranged to be lower than the starting voltage of the motor so that when the train is stationary the lamps may be illuminated by this lower voltage applied to the rails.
