1,078,080. Protecting thyristors. LICENTIA PATENT - VERWALTUNGS G.m.b.H. Sept. 18, 1964 [Sept. 30, 1963], No. 38190/64. Heading H3T. The inductance 3 included in series with the cathode of an SCR2 to prevent excessive switching voltages is shunted by a resistor 6, preferably in series with a diode 7, thus providing protection against high reverse voltages also.
