Abstract
1,076,430. Laying land mines. INDUSTRIE-WERKE KARLSRUHE A.E. March 14, 1966 [April 29, 1965], No. 11049/66. Heading F3A. Mines stored in V-form channels 2 are laid from a moving vehicle by two operators. One operator, seated at 20, works opposite sides of the vehicle alternately by handles 27 which operate cut-off and release members 22, 23 to deposit the mines in pockets on a conveyer belt 4 advanced by a handle 7. The mines slide down a laying beam 12 and are arrested by a catch 14. The second operator seated at 16 performs a priming operation on each mine. The mines are finally released automatically by an adjustable cam 17 driven by the track wheel 18 of the laying beam, which releases the catch 14, or this may be disconnected and the mines released by a hand lever 19. Additional mines 24 are stored on the vehicle.
