1,074,973. Deaeration of liquid; aerating liquids. HOLSTEIN & KAPPERT MASCHINENFABRIK "PHOENIX" G.m.b.H. Jan. 26, 1965 [Jan. 27, 1964], No. 3329/65. Headings B1C and B1M. Liquid is deaerated prior to producing from it a carbonated beverage by a method in which the liquid is introduced by line 7 to jetpump 3 and flows through U-tube 1 to liquidgas separator 2, air being removed by application of vacuum at 4 and 5. Carbon dioxide may be supplied at 6. Liquid from separator 2 is supplied by means of pump 10 to storage tank 11.
