In order to provide connection between one of the conductors 4, 5, 6 and a lead (not shown) inserted in a hole 2, the insulating strip is parted within the hole by a punch 18, one of the conductors (such as 4 in Fig. 4, not shown) being divided as the strip is forced against the periphery of the hole.
