Abstract

1,071,630. Indicating-apparatus. DECCA Ltd. Dec. 16, 1965 [Dec. 28, 1964], No.52573/64. Heading G1J. In indicating-apparatus for use with a navigational position fixing system or systems, a direct current of a polarity and magnitude representative of the sense and magnitude of the change in heading of the craft required to steer it in a predetermined direction is fed to a milliammeter 53 whose pointer 60 co-operates with a datum indicator marked at the top of a transparent disc 17 and another direct current similarly representing the transverse deviation of the craft from a predetermined track is fed to a milliammeter 33 whose spindle 36 carries a pair of arms 41, 42 supporting a translucent strip 43 so that a marker line 20 thereon moves transversely over a scale on the disc 17 intersecting the axis of the pointer 60.
