762,346. Electric indicating systems. SPERRY RAND CORPORATION. March 12, 1954, No. 36911/55. Divided out of 762,301. Drawings to Specification. Class 40 (1). The subject-matter of this Specification is identical with that of Specification 762,301 but the claims relate to navigation apparatus in which a gyroscopic system is mounted in a craft with freedom about three axes one of which is vertical, and a platform, rotatable about the vertical axis, carries a pair of accelerometers detecting accelerations of the craft in mutually perpendicular directions, movement of the platform about the vertical axis being controlled in dependence on the sine of the latitude and the sum of the vertical component of the Earth's rotation and the rate of change of longitude.
