Abstract

1,070,201. Feeding webs. PEMBROKE CARTON & PRINTING CO. Ltd. July 19, 1965 [April 17, 1964], No. 16078/64. Heading B6B. A hollow turning bar 5 is provided with a plurality of holes 9 through which compressed air flows to provide an air cushion to support the web. The end plugs 6 and 7 may be adjusted or exchanged for plugs of a different length, so that certain holes 9 may be blocked to accommodate webs of different widths.
