Abstract

1,068,575. Developing electrostatic images. FUJI SHASHIN FILM KABUSHIKI KAISHA. Aug. 13, 1964 [Aug. 13, 1963], No. 33110/64. Heading G2H. Xerographic material 1 having a latent image is passed in the direction of the arrow 2 beneath an open duct 3. Developer, comprising a toner and carrier, is supplied from a hopper 4. Elongated nozzles 5, 6, and 7 cause the developer to flow continuously over the material 1. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown) nozzles (12) are provided on the side walls of the duct 3, such that air blows in the direction of the arrow (13) to prevent the escape of developer from the interior of the duct (3).
