Spraying equipment comprises a spraying head, at least three containers for containing two spraying media and a solvent and means for selectively coupling said lead to said containers. In the arrangement shown 1 is a container filled with a first paint and connected through a stop valve 4, connector 5 and hose 6 to a distributing pipe 7. The latter is connected by tubes 10 to pumps 11, all mechanically coupled and driven by shaft 17, and the pumps discharge via tubes 12 and 14 to spraying heads 13. Paint in container 1 is at atmospheric pressure and when pumps 11 are started and stop valve 4 opened, paint gravitates to pipe 7 and thence via pumps 11 to spraying heads 13. Two additional canisters are provided, one 20 for paint thinners and the other 21 for a second paint and fitted with stop valves 22, 23 respectively. When it is desired to change from one paint to another, valve 4 is closed and tube 6 uncoupled and connected to cannister 20. Valve 22 is then opened to allow thinners to pass through the system until thinners uncontaminated with paint is discharged through spray heads 13. Stop valve 22 is then closed and the tube 6 disconnected from it and connected to stop valve 23 of container 21. Valve 23 is then opened to allow the new paint to flow through the system and force the residue of thinners out of the system until paint of the desired consistency is discharged from sprays 13. The containers may be made air-tight and provided with means to connect them to a compressed air supply 26 to expidite the flow of thinners and the initial flow of new paint, to assist in rapid change over from one paint to the other.
