Abstract
1,067,148. Resonators. CENTRE ELECTRONIQUE HORLOGER S.A. Jan. 18, 1965 [Jan. 20, 1964], No. 2127/65. Heading G5J. [Also in Division G3] The Figure shows an elastic resonator intended to be electrically driven to act as a timer in an electronically driven wrist watch. It consists of two frames in the centre of the outside edge of each of which are attached masses 1 which oscillate to and from on line r-r. The inside edges of the two frames are joined by member 4 which carries the securing point 5. In further embodiments (Fig. 5, not shown), H-shaped masses replace the single masses of Fig. 1 and a cruciform central member carries two securing points. In still further embodiments (Figs. 3 and 4, not shown), the masses are supported on the inside edge of the outer part of the frame, the ends of the frame are thinned, and variations in the support construction are described.
