Abstract

1,066,665. Viewfinders. PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE. Jan.27, 1965, No.3591/65. Heading G2A. A telescopic viewfinder situated on top of a camera housing contains a transparent plate 9 positioned between the viewfinder lens 5 and the ocular 8, which plate has an orifice 11 through which the viewfinder beam III passes after entering the camera through a light transmissive bridge 1. The bridge is positioned so as to admit beams of light I, II which by-pass the lens 5. The beam I illuminates a pointer 3 coupled to the diaphragm blades and the beam II, after deflection by a prism. 2, illuminates a pointer 4 connected with a film length measuring device. Beams I, II are deflected by the wedge shaped edges 10 of the orifice in the plate 9 into the ocular 8. The edges 10 carry scales 12.
