Abstract

1446392 Cameras PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE VEB 29 Jan 1974 [13 April 1973] 04015/74 Heading G2A A camera has a through the lens light metering circuit including a photo-conductor 7 positioned outside the focal plane and an interchangeable lens carrying (a) a resistor 5 coupled to a diaphragm presetting member. (b) a corrector resistor 10 indicative of the focal length of the lens. As shown, a bridge circuit comprises photoconductor 7, resistors 5, 10 and a further resistor 2 set according to film speed and exposure time. Diaphragm resistor 5 and/or exposure time resistor 2 are adjusted to obtain a balance on meter 9. For stopped down measurement, a switch 4 replaces resistors 5, 10 by a resistor 6. Figs. 2, 3 (not shown) show alternative connections between resistors 5 and 10. Figs. 4, 5 (not shown) show an extra contact (15) for shorting out resistor 10 in cameras wherein the photo-conductor 7 is located in the focal plane and correction is unnecessary.
