[Also in Division E2] A support 10 for holding a rimmed article comprises a channel shaped body including a central web 14 and a pair of side flanges 16, 18 and being adapted to be secured to a fixed object, a hook 20 at one end of the web, a slidable member 22 having a tongue 30 disposed between the flanges, and a hook 23 at one end of the tongue projecting over the web and disposed towards the hook 20. In the embodiment shown the tongue 30 lies between the web 14 and bent over end portions 36, 38 of the flanges 16, 18 respectively, and a projection 34 on the tongue engages with the portion 38 to prevent withdrawal of the member 22 from the web. A rimmed article is engaged with the support by engaging its upper rim in the hook 23 raising the article and swinging it towards the support so that its lower rim lies over the hook 20, and dropping its lower rim into the hook 20 whilst the upper hook moves downward under gravity. In a second embodiment the member 22 is spring loaded to its lower position and the shapes of the hooks 20, 23 are reversed so that an article is engaged by inserting its lower rim in the lower hook and then snapping its upper rim into the upper hook. In a third embodiment movement of the tongue is limited by a tab on the web engaging an elongated hole therein. The support is secured to a fixed object either by a screw passing through a countersunk hole 47 therein or by a band clamp passing through holes 44 in the flanges 16, 18. When the support is secured to a circular object the corners of the portions 36, 38 are chamfered.
