[Also in Division F2] The end 4 of a shaft 1 is expanded into engagement with a hub 2 of a propeller or pulley by screwing a tapered pin 6 into a complementary bore 5 in the shaft. Pressure liquid forced through ducts 11 . . . 13 comprises the surface of the bore 5 and permits the pin 6 to be screwed into the bore.
